Statement From Chair Peter Criswell On The Passing Of Former Legislator Robert Aiello

It is with great sadness that we acknowledge the passing of former Ulster County Legislator Robert Aiello. Bob was a dedicated public servant who brought passion, energy, and a deep love for his community to his work in the Legislature. Representing his district from 1995 to 2013, Bob was never afraid to speak his mind, always striving to make a positive impact on the lives of those he served.

 

Beyond his public service, Bob’s warmth, authenticity, and commitment to building meaningful connections left a lasting impression on all who knew him. Whether in his years as a successful local business owner or in quiet moments spent with family and friends, Bob’s dedication to his community shone through.
